New Cable Ads of The Blade and Spa Natura

These are the new ads for Spa Natura and The Blade Spa at Sky Cable Classifieds. They have new promos during weekdays and a new service, too.
There are discounts and free services or lengthened services during weekdays and during siesta times. The promos vary every day so it is best to call them for the available promo before going there.

At the Blade Spa @ Casino, they also have several ongoing promos. But the biggest one is getting 20% Off when you come in groups of three (3).

At the Spa Natura, as well as the other Blade branches, they are now offering eye rejuvenation. It is a new service that reduces the appearance of fine lines, black eye, and wrinkles around the eye area.

I did the store sign for a boutique that sell imported brands like Mango, Zara, Heelys, Debenhams, Milano, Marks & Spender, Gucci, Tommy, Christian Dior, Burberry, Guess, American Eagle, BHS, Top Shop, Osh Kosh, and many others.

It had to have a pink background because it is so girly. They already did their logo, so I just made the design. And oh, it was my husband who found the fashionable silhouettes. teehee

Their tag line is "We dress you up chic and fab!", which is also incorporated in their store sign.

Static TV Commercial for The Blade

I did several slides for the static TV commercial of The Blade Salon and Spa and Spa Natura in the past. But I need to do a newer version for The Blade that features their four branches, namely, San Juan, Mambukal, Casino Filipino Hotel, and Bacolod-Silay Airport.

These are just the initial slides as we may have to do another photo shoot of the amenities in all four branches.

Customized Cartoon Character Magnets for Kids

For Christmas, we decided to add some personalized gifts on top of the gifts that we got for the kids of our family friends. We picked out their best photos and sorta combined them with their favorite cartoon characters. Here are the designs that we did.

I just love these cute kids! And the parents will surely like seeing their kids on magnets like these. :D

By the way, we manually did the contour-cut for these magnets.

Practical Cooking with Pancho Bringas

The St. Scholastica's Bacolod Alumnae Association will be holding a cooking demo on October 1, 2011 at the Garden Royale of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex, from 1pm to 5pm. Entitled Practical Cooking with Pablo Bringas, the show will feature the L'Fisher Hotel chef, Pablo Bringas. He will be teaching dishes from soup to dessert with recipes that could be used for business.

Tickets are sold at P500 while students with ID can get discounted tickets at P350. These are available at Quan North Drive, Quan La Salle, and Quan Lopue's East.

Proceeds of this event will benefit the charitable projects of the SSBAFI.

Sponge Bob and Super Mario Brothers Birthday Party

A friend of mine approached me to do design these birthday party collaterals for his nephew. The little guy wanted to combine Super Mario Brothers with a touch of Sponge Bob for birthday party theme. It was quite a touch job but I was able to pull it through. Above is the tarpaulin backdrop with dimensions of 5feet x 3 feet.

Above is the Sponge Bob invitation with Super Mario images. We did not print the invitation though, as he had this printed in a photo lab as 4R prints. Notice that the venue is blank because this is a future event that will happen next year. The party will be held in the United Kingdom.

The photo above is the vertical tarpaulin that they will hang by the entrance of the venue so that guests will know where to go.
These are the Thank You Cards. These will be attached on each souvenir. They will just punch a hole on the upper left side for the ribbon. This was also printed on photo paper and cut.

This is the brochure that I made for Terra Nova Subdivision, which is owned and developed by Bacolod Cityville Realty. The place is located in Alijis, Bacolod City. The houses are very nice.

Bacolod Cityville Corporation has long been in the real estate business and this one is their most recent project. Terra Nova is situated near the Panaad Park and Stadium, home to many local and international sporting events.

These are the signage of Spa Natura and The Blade Spa at the arrival area of the Bacolod-Silay Airport.

The management of these Bacolod spa may as well be considered as the largest locally owned day spa operations in the city.

Spa Natura is located at the Second Level, Two San Parq, San Antonio Park Square, Lacson Street, Mandalagan, Bacolod City, Philippines. Their website is www.spa-natura.com.

Many people would come to us and have their birthday tarpaulin backdrops printed. These come in personalized designs and in different sizes, based on how big the venue is. Those having parties in big venues also have big tarpaulin backdrops printed so that those at the back can still see the design.

There are also those who prefer to cover the entire stage with their own design, hence the tarpaulin covers the whole stage background. In the photo above are just some of the designs that we did in the past.

Sometimes, they would just give us the theme and their photos. It will be then up to us to make the design of the backdrop. There are also those who prefer to have the design of their invitations match the tarpaulin backdrop so they also let us do the design.

Richard Poon Fans Club: Pooners Bacolod

Last time, I rushed a job for a friend who is heading the fans club here in Bacolod for Filipino-Chinese crooner Richard Poon. It was very rushed because I started the layout around 10 in the evening and she was to pick the tarp the next day, around 10 am. Until about midnight, we continued to exchange e-mails until the design was done to her liking. The tarpaulin printing was to be done the next day.

In the tarpaulin layout, we include the photos of Mr. Poon with his Chinese name and title, "Philippines' Big Band Crooner." We also put in his three albums entitled "For You", "I'll Take Care of You", and "I'll be Seeing You." I was told that Mr. Poon was very happy that the local fans were able to prepare a tarpaulin for him when they met at the O Hotel.

I made this postcard as my birthday giveaway postcard in my blog Dream World Traveler. It is merely a re-layout of my blog header. Then I had it printed at a printing press using laser printing. TCF Church Encounter Tarpaulin Backdrop

The layout of this tarpaulin backdrop was actually a collaboration. This is being used during Encounter Weekends in our church, Trinity Christian Fellowship. It is usually held at the CORE Ministries Center. The banner contains the logos of TCF, Encounter God, and CORE Ministries. It also has the verse Galatians 2:20 written there. This event is actually a time designed to "Encounter God".

We made this birthday invitation photo into a bookmark. Actually, there were two events that day for this child--her first birthday and her dedication. This bookmark was printed on photo paper and done by a photo lab. I just did the design. I used the child's photo and made a composite of different graphics that I found online.

Patty's Bistro is the name of the restaurant at Saltimboca Tourist Inn in Bacolod City. They had their menu revised into this one-piece, back to back vinyl sticker on sintra board creation, with the size of a short bond paper. We finished this with matte lamination so that the print will not easily fade.

Saltimboca Tourist Inn is located at 15th-Lacson Streets, Bacolod City.

Mobsters and Molls Birthday Party Invitations

The 18th birthday celebration of this young lady celebrated the 20s era. So their theme was about gangsters and the ladies. The simple black and white birthday invitation was printed on vellum paper and rolled inside a tobacco paper. It looked like a real cigar because we also made round stickers that looked like cigar seals.

Well, they really brought the 20s alive again because all the guests were required to wear that era's regalia. The birthday cake was made up of cupcakes with toppers that feature guns, bullets, playing cards, dice, etc.

The giveaways were empty bullets. Cool party!

1920's Inspired Birthday Party

We were asked to do this Molls and Mobsters Birthday Party decorations. Instead of the usual backdrop, they opted to have four tarpaulin banners with the size of 2' x 5' each. I think that the concept is cool. And the black and white photos are just romantic.

This can be done with other themes as well. I might do this for our daughter's third birthday party.

Since she likes Strawberry Shortcake and that was the theme of the birthday party, we thought of tinkering with an graphic of Strawberry Shortcake.
